The Barbara Sanborn Public Library would like to introduce
“Online Book Club,” a daily five minute reading version from
various book selections. Every weekday, Mon. through Fri., the library
will send you a portion of a chapter, which will take about 5 minutes
to read. After the completion of 5 chapters, a new cycle will start. You
can join by visiting the library’s web site at www.wcfls.lib.wi.us/pewaukee

When signing up by e-mail, type the word “join” only in the
message box. For further assistance or for questions, call the library
at 691-5670.

Hartland Community Center, located on the lower level of
the Hartland Municipal Building, 210 Cottonwood Ave., will be open each
Tuesday from 10 am until noon. Community members are invited to wander
in and sit down for a game of cards. These gatherings are free of charge
and include tables of sheepshead, bridge and 500. People interested in
other games are encouraged to bring them, along with a couple of friends,
and start a new table.
